A professional question-asker and decision-making companion
Life First Advice is founder-led. Dane’s job is to help you see the real decision clearly — and to stay alongside you as life changes.

Dane Pymble
Director & Senior Financial Planner
From research and markets to real decisions
Dane entered financial services in 2003. Early in his career, his own initiative in writing macroeconomic and stock-specific research led to opportunities to participate in institutional investment committees, alongside managing client relationships.
From around 2016, he moved primarily into direct client relationships and developed a goals-based approach, because investment management needed a clearer “why”. Since 1 July 2023 he has had sole responsibility for managing Life First Advice’s in-house investment strategies.
Today Dane helps clients at every stage — from those beginning to accumulate assets to those protecting wealth and planning a legacy. He lives on Sydney’s North Shore and looks after clients across the country and expats overseas.

The principles behind every decision
Life before money
We start by establishing what the money is actually for — your values, relationships, work and the future you want.
Goals over returns
Investment success is judged in the context of the life it is intended to fund, not a number in isolation.
Clarity before complexity
We identify the real decision, the relevant trade-offs and the next sensible action — before reaching for products.
Simplicity over complexity
We use structures and strategies only where they serve a clear, understood purpose.
Progress over perfection
We build a workable path and refine it as life changes, rather than waiting for a perfect plan.
Live now, plan ahead
We avoid sacrificing today for an undefined later — or later for a short-term impulse.
Start with the decision in front of you.
A Decision Clarity Call is an initial fit conversation, not personal financial advice. We will explore what you need and whether a focused or broader next step makes sense.
